I'd like to say a heartfelt hello to Camel fans all over the world. Playing with Camel has always been an enormous pleasure for me. I consider working with one of the best guitar players in the world and a band with people that are BOTH wonderful persons and great craftsmen as a privilege. I hope and know Andy and I will work together in the future again. I'm already looking forward to that now! A short anecdote would have to be on the virus that almost ruined the beginning of the last tour. We all got sick on the bus or even on stage (hi Dennis). And I do admit: I started it all- everyone thought it was the lasagna in Granada but apparently it wasn't. Unless they all ate MY lasagna. Anyway, we got through Spain puking and still had a great time- what a band! I wish you much success with the site. Kind regards Ton Scherpenzeel |
